Fire-Rating Notice - Do Not Paint or Finish

The fire rating is only valid on the panel as supplied; additional paints or finishes will invalidate the rating

 

Installation Notice

The fire rated panels only achieve the full Class A fire rating and Class A acoustic rating when installed on a gypsum plasterboard substrate rated Class A, with 1.77" furr-outs and insulation material. There is to be no air gap.

If you are only installing the panels for the fire-rating benefits, there is no need for the 1.77" furr-outs or acoustic insulation - you can install straight onto your suitable substrate, as outlined above, with no air gap.

Valid for vertical and horizontal slat installations.

Do not apply any additional paints or finishes to the panel, as this will invalidate the fire rating.
